Best Robot Vacuum Cleaner and Mop
Robotic vacuum cleaners and mops are the best method to quickly clean up mess. The best robot vacs and mops I've tested have top-notch mapping and navigation, picking up Cheerios, tangled wires and fake dog turds without leaving them behind.
They're also simple to use using an application that lets you plan cleaning tasks and see what they're up to.
1. Roborock S8 maxV Ultra

The Roborock S8 MaxV is the most efficient robot mop and vacuum combination. It has the latest features. This model of the highest quality is quick and agile it can remove debris such as pet hair and human hair nearly flawlessly in our Debris Pickup Test. It also features a sleek app interface with a mini map of your home and some on-screen buttons to allow manual control.
The S8's Dirt Detection Technology enables it to change the cleaning mode in accordance with the amount of dirt. It will clean its mopping pads more often when it encounters dust. Carpeted areas get the first priority when mopping with a damp mopping pad.
The mop's roller has a number of other smart features, including a dock that connects to the plumbing system in your home to clean and wash it without having to refill the mop. You can even use voice commands to control the built-in voice assistant of the S8 that can be activated by saying "Hey Rocky" to specify the cleaning of your room, modes, and granular controls with your voice.
2. Yeedi Cube
The Yeedi Cube offers a variety of options for those seeking an automated robot vacuum that is hands-free that can also mop. It's part of a litany of robot vacuums that also feature mops however it's priced at a lower cost than the majority of competitors.
As with most robovacs the Yeedi Cube also requires some work to get it started. This involves setting up an account with the app and connecting the device to your WiFi network. Once that's done the robot is able to begin cleaning and mopping easily.
It is important to remember that the mapping process could take a while, and the Yeedi Cube may need a few attempts before it has an accurate picture of your room. The object detection feature is hit-and-miss. It was able skirt around furniture and other obstacles, but got stuck on a looser rug with tassels and needed to turn to get it out of the way. But these are minor flaws and the Yeedi Cube is still a ideal choice for those who want an all-in-one cleaning companion.
3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
The Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete is a home cleaning solution. Its advanced mopping features the rotation of the motion, which is similar to hand scrubs. This means that floors are cleaned and not just cleaned. Its detachable stick-vacuum is a game changer that allows you to reach areas that robotic vacuums aren't able to reach.
This model is nearly identical to the popular X2 Omni but with a slightly higher suction capacity of 8,700Pa and additional features that are smart. The upgraded RGBD sensor can learn your home's surroundings better and provide dynamic obstacles avoidance. best robot cleaner lets you adjust a variety of settings such as scheduling, AI cleanings, and setting virtual boundaries.
The X2 Combo is also self-prepping by having both the robot vacuum and the mop returning to their charging base after each job to wash their pads, empty their dust bins, and place debris into bags that self-seal. This helps keep the system clean and prevents allergens recirculating. And its battery lifespan is long enough to handle large spaces without the need for a recharge during cleaning.
4. Eufy S1 Pro
As one of the more premium robot vacuum and mop models that we have reviewed, the Eufy S1 Pro offers impressive features for the price. It is equipped with a powerful 8,000 Pa suction power and a rotating brush that is ideal for hard floors and carpets, and great obstacle avoidance. It also boasts a unique mopping method, which uses a roller continuously dosed with water to pick up dirt and deposit it in the dirty water tank.
Its navigation system was efficient. It avoided the stairs and was able to navigate close to walls without falling. It had trouble with fine debris and didn't always clear the raised thresholds in rooms. Its operating noise is also quite high, which suggests it could be less of a "set-and-forget" model than some.
As with most robotic vacuums and mops, the S1 Pro comes with a docking station that lets you refill its clean water as well as empty its dustbin and mop pad, and wash and dry its mop. This makes maintenance simple and helps the S1 Pro to spend more time cleaning floors according to an ongoing basis. You can control all its functions through the Eufy app, which provides an overview of the system and plenty of options for configuration.
5. Freo X Ultra
The Freo X Ultra is one of the top robot mowers and vacuums available, and it provides an impressive mix of mopping and vacuuming performance. The LIDAR mapping sensors can detect furniture legs, obstacles and other obstacles with decent accuracy. The app lets users fine-tune the coverage of the map, create no-go zones, and even alter the cleaning preferences. The Freo's main roller brush is also designed to prevent hair from wrapping around it, which could be a big pain point with many robotic vacuums.
The Mop Mode also impresses, with Reuleaux triangular mop heads spinning at 180 RPM while applying up to 12N downward pressure. The mopping system is equipped with smart carpet detectors, which lift these pads up when they are near soft surfaces to prevent contamination.
The docking station is designed to function as a hands-free center for maintenance, automatically washing and drying the mops before refilling them with water and detergent. The base station also features integrated dust processing that compacts dust for 7 weeks of uninterrupted operation, unlike conventional robot vacuums that empty their dust bins each time they have to be empty.
6. S10
A few hundred dollars more than the S8 and this robot is a slick job of keeping my home office tidy and is able to tackle the corners of my cramped apartment. It uses laser mapping and a camera to build an image of your space and knows where not to go. And, unlike many vacuums with mopping capabilities it also has detection of objects and obstructions that avoids items such as bowls for dogs and dog toys (but not poop).
It has other great notable features, like an automatic emptying dust bin, a mop pad that's self-washing and adjustable for water temperature, and a side-reaching sweeper brush that can reach places that other mops don't. You can also set up cleaning schedules in the app and set custom the settings for each room of your home.
It comes with the same multi-room smart mapping as the S8 and is able to distinguish between laminate and carpets with high-pile rugs. If you're looking to cut down on time, it can avoid mopping rooms that aren't soiled. If you have a variety of flooring options in your home and don't wish to spend more money on a Roborock with advanced mapping features it is a great option.
7. Q5 Pro
If you're looking for a versatile robot vacuum and mop that is able to handle regular maintenance and touch-ups on messy messes that are wet, this robot is a good choice. It comes with a wide range of features, including a self emptying dustbin, a separate dock to refill water, and adjustable settings that can be adjusted via the app. It's surprisingly quiet, and it can move between furniture legs and socks with ease. However, it isn't able to pick up knotted rug tassels and it's battery drains a little more quickly than other models in our tests.
With a price tag of less than $250, the Q5 Pro is a bargain-friendly machine that packs a lot of suction and useful automation into a sleek design. It didn't perform as well in our vacuuming and mopping tests as the pricier Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra however it did very well overall. It also includes a wide variety of cleaning modes to suit your needs, ranging from the low-power 'Quiet' option for light debris to the more powerful 'Turbo' option for carpeted rooms. It can even be programmed to automatically remove and reattach mop pads, without getting your carpets wet.
8. K10 Plus
The K10 Plus is a great two-in-one robot vacuum and mop for people who live in small areas. It's quiet and quick, and it is a great choice for maneuvering around tight spaces. It is also very good in removing pet hair from carpets.
It's smaller than many of its competitors, but it doesn't sacrifice features. It has a decent amount of suction power and it's possible to take a picture of any object it comes across (i.e., chew toys, socks) and mark them as 'not found in the app, so that they don't get picked up during future cleanings. The photos are secured and are not tied to your account.
It is capable of vaccuming, but it isn't as effective at mopping. It makes use of disposable wet wipes that you clip to the bottom of the bot and then it drags them around the floor. Compare this to the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra or Narwhal which have water reservoirs and will automatically wash and attach their mopheads.
